Consistent with these values, Marymount California University prohibits harassment and discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, color, religion (including religious dress and grooming practices), creed, ancestry, national origin, age, medical condition, physical or mental disability, sexual orientation, gender (including sexual harassment, gender identification, gender expression, transgender status), genetic information, marital status (including registered domestic partner status), military and veteran status, lawful change of name, Social Security Number or federal employment authorization document, receipt of Medi-Cal coverage, California driver’s license with a “federal limits apply” notation, or any other characteristic protected by local, state or federal law.  Discrimination or harassment on the basis of “sex” includes harassment or discrimination on the basis of pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions, breastfeeding, and conditions related to breastfeeding.
